I am delighted to report that The Pevensie Codicil, my tale of the girl who was left behind when the four Pevensie children returned to Narnia, has been shortlisted in the Fantasy category of the Historical Novel Society’s First Chapters Competition.
Not that I needed any reassurance that my recent trip to Oxford was more than just a fantastic time (which it was!), but the news is delicious icing on the tea cakes we enjoyed at Bletchley Park.
